A SMILE THAT MADE ME SMILE...

pure joy...

As I walked on the pier, taking in the sights and the smells of the water.
I stopped and talked to a fisherman baiting his hook...took me back to fishing with my dad at Saratoga.
Watched as other fisher's of men tossed there lines into the water hoping to snag the big catch.
Other's were sitting on benches, having conversations...
People were eating fried clams in the shack...
As I continued walking and veering to the right, people were boarding their boats from below...
When I turned left...walking towards the other side of the pier...so many more fisher's of men lined either sides of the dock...
And then this little boy, who's name I still don't know walked towards me with this thing in his hand...I said "hello" as he held up what I could now see was a crab.
He smiled at his catch as he shared with me how he caught his "friend." All the time smiling and laughing as he could see I wasn't to fond of his friend...I asked if he wanted me to take a picture as he was pointing at my camera...I said, "sure if your parents say it's okay."

They agreed...

Oh, that smile...

We certainly could use allot more of those...and maybe a peace sign or two!
