the fun of capturing...

You all know that #Philly is my home away from home…and no matter how many times I come and go, I always find something new. After, leaving a great SAG-AFTRA meeting I was driving home. As my camera was on the seat next to me, I found my self sitting in traffic trying to make a left turn to get to the 95.

Well, If this wasn’t the longest dang intersection…so as I inch closer and closer, my eyes spied this railroad car. One eye on traffic that was going nowhere, one hand on the wheel. One eye in my view finder with my other hand on my camera and I just, click, click ,click…(Do not try this at home.) I’m a professional, hahahahahaha!!!

Well it took six lights to get through the intersection…what? Insane. I literally could have gotten out of the car to capture the shot. What’s funny, this is the first time looking at the images as they just uploaded to my Mac.

…and what fun this shot is, I didn’t notice what I also captured in the reflection of the rain water that was on the ground. You gotta love #art and moments like this…It’s like life, full of surprises…and I didn’t even correct the perspective. There’s beauty in imperfection.

Till next time…
